The ongoing story of Aunt Rose's ring

The center stone has been passed down for generations and was the diamond in a wedding ring set that a young Jewish man inherited when his parents perished in Europe.
He immigrated to the United States and fell in love with a Catholic girl, Rose. They married and had a wonderful life together with the exception that Rose was unable to have children.
